What does shaping tomorrow mean to me?
Mapping futures is hard work especially connecting them to corporate strategy and present management, but thinking like a futurist is not. To me, futures thinking is a skill that should be culturally inherent. It should be taught in very easy to understand ways starting from the primary level. We should all be trained futurists. Shaping Tomorrow is helping to simplify the methods and tools to apply foresight and make it more valuable and readily accessible for everyone. Academics are finding new ways to research, executives are profiting from futures thinking, governments are better informed about the implications of their decisions, and individuals are being motivated by their own views of the future.
My perfect weekend
My perfect Saturday is spent hiking in the hills with my family before returning to the city for some street tacos. Sunday is all about church, family, and relaxing with a good book.
